while you're 18 and stay at domicile (maybe nevertheless in school additionally) you'll have a curfew, I did! i did not graduate till 19, and for a year I had a curfew, it did not worry me lots although. in case you have a curfew, it is by way of fact your mum and dad worry and love you. I mean what in the event that they did not set you a curfew, and you in simple terms in no way got here domicile... they could be frightened ill approximately you, and not understand what to think of.

Depending if she goes to university or works or not... if she does, then curfew for weekdays should be like 1 or so in the morning and no later than that. She is old enough to be responsible and know that she must wake up for her classes or job. On the weekend, I would say much much later. I understand that as a parent (as I assume you are) you worry about your daughter and want her to be safe, but you must understand that as a teenager, she really just wants to enjoy herself. I think that if she wants to stay out until 3 or 4, she should be able to, but she should have to let you know so that you are not staying up all night worrying about her. I am an 18 year old myself, but my situation is a bit different. I don't live at home, but stay in residence at the university. When I go home, my parents usually want me back by 2 unless they know I am sleeping out somewhere. I generally find this to be a little bit unfair because I will usually only get to leave the house about 10, go to eat until about 12 and then only have 2 hours to party. I know it sounds like I am being a bit of a spoiled brat, but you have to give teenagers their freedom.

I'm 18 and live with my parents. They don't explicitly state a curfew, but they like me to be home before 10PM weekdays and midnight on non-school nights. I think this is pretty fair.
I should add that although it is also not explicitly stated, it is understood that I tell her where I go, in very general terms (hang out with my friends, go to my boyfriend's house, have a sleepover, etc.) If she disapproves, we compromise. I have very few complaints in the curfew department.

Well I'm 17 and I usually get to go out until 2 a.m. (That's supposed to be my curfew), especially when my brother picks me up. If i'm getting a ride home, then I can go home at whatever hour because my father tends to not notice, or not be home.
Most of my friends are the same.

If she is still living with you (I'm assuming that you're the parent, guardian, etc) you still have every right to give her a curfew, dispite what everyone else here has says. If she doesn't like your rules, she can move out. On to the actual question, since she's older I would suggest 2am, but that would depend on who she's hanging out with, where you live, whether or not you trust her, etc.

She is an adult so she should not have a curfew. I am sorry if that is not what you want to hear but it is true.

18 and you're giving her a curfew - it doesn't matter if she is small, it is time to LET HER GO!
