Girls: Is there a certain height at which you wouldn't date a guy shorter?

How important is height to you and why?

height is very important to me.I want the guy to be taller even if its just a little because just imagine if he's shorter and we're going on a date and i want to wear heals he would look even more shorter.No offense to short people but that's how i like it.A friend of mine started going out with a shorter guy although she felt the same way i did now they are very much in love and will be getting married very soon.I suppose it all in the mind and depending on who the guy is i mean if he's good in other areas you might forget that he's shorter as long as he makes you feel good.

I am 5'8", and usually date men at least 6" taller than I, because I do like to wear heels. I am accustomed to taller men because it's what I grew up around, as all the men in my family are tall. Men that are shorter than 6'2" simply seem too short to me, and therefore less attractive to me. Because I am a traditional woman, I prefer that my man be taller and physically stronger than me. Small hands are also a turn-off.

Why the heck not??!!! Men have been judging women for how they look since the dawn of time. They are visual creatures, hence why women do all of the primping and spend so much time on hair, makeup and wardrobe. Men place a much higher emphasis on physical appearance than women do. But everyone has a "type" -- and no one can force another person to be attracted to something they are not. There are men who find me to be too tall for their liking, and that is just fine with me, because there are plenty of men who don't think I'm too tall.

No its all a matter or preference I wouldnt care about that but thats because its not one of the things that turns me on or mattersWhen it counts. " know for the girl that said she feels safe with a guy just because of his height well let me tell you I grew up never dated him but he was a year under me he was a short mean as hell guy that could beat the living crap out of any guy in town literally at 14yrs of age so dont be such a twit a tall guy doesnt mean **** I seen him beat a guy I knew and his dad a his fresh man year and the dad at the same time and he was a little guy and yes they where both alot bigger ht. and wt.

Under 5ft6 would probably be a bit short for my personal taste, but there are always exceptions and if you really like a guy, hopefully you would be more than just attracted to his height! I did date a guy who was 5ft5 once and he was really lovely. Take care : )

NOT important. My first husband was 5' 4", I'm 5' 10". Didn't even occur to me. Loved him dearly and he loved me to wear 4" heels to be even taller!

After we divorced, I dated (twice) a guy of similar height who wore heels (boots) and insisted I wear flats... Ditched him after two dates, not because of his height but because of his obsession with it.

I'm tall. You're not. So what??? I loved my guy wholeheartedly. Height is in your heart.

Sorry i'm a guy but I feel I must add my 2 cents.... Would you define love or a chance to find your true love by the phycial attributes a male was endowed with? Would it be fair for a male to base their feelings on how a female looks aswell?

Height is not important.You the person is important how much you make her comfortable when she is with you that is what gets you a date.
