Some rather wierd things are going on, and I think it's because of the full moon. Stuff like this has never happened to me before, so how do I deal with it?

Well, let's see. I got into a car wreck today. I was late to work, really late to work. The circle I held today for some friends was a miserable failure, and I know it was because of me. I don't know what's going on, this kind of stuff has never happened to me before.

You could be seeing things negatively and unaware of positives around you. Being late for work happens, the accident probably gave you a negative frame of mind that can linger for a few days which would explain why your circle failed. You need to unwind and find way to change your perspective of the world to a more positive one.

Im so sorry you feel that way and that those things happened to you and i know where you're coming from because i used to feel like that, infact because of the full moon myth that alot of bad things will happen on the night of a full moon i think is hogwash. Just look at the full moon as being something beutiful to look at, I do now. It is a fascinating sight. Keep your faith in god and all will be fine.

I did a study of moon madness over 15 years ago of 30 patients at South Florida Mental Hospital.
The conclusion: No correlation between the moon and behavior.

I guess there's never been a full moon in your life before, if none of this has happened before?
I can guarantee it ain't the moon - and even if it was, it's not like the rest of us can change the phase of the moon for you. Only time can do that. We might be able to offer some helpful advice if you gave us some idea of what the "weird things" are, though!

Southeast Asian and Western folklore long ago established the Full Moon as the time for werewolves and vampires to awaken, or appear most often. As suggested in the film Wolf (1994; Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader; Directed by Mike Nichols) the creators of these myths explained away violence occuring during the middle of each month, when in fact the moon simply adds more light to the evening sky. This allows criminals to act more freely. It also helped assuage the guilt of the masses for not doing more to stop violent crime, and freed people to vilify brutality, while fantasizing and apologizing for it.
Full Moons are traditionally associated with temporal insomnia, insanity (hence the terms lunacy and lunatic) and various magical phenomena such as lycanthropy. On a full moon, the moon is in opposition to the sun, thus indicating that one's inner world of feelings and outer persona and expression may be in conflict with each other.
Psychologists have found that there is no strong evidence for effects on behaviour around Full Moon. They find that studies are not consistent, with some showing a positive effect, while others will show a negative effect. In one instance, the December 23, 2000 issue of the British Medical Journal published two studies on dog bite admission to hospitals in England and Australia. The study of the Bradford Royal Infirmary found that dog bites were twice as common at Full Moon, while the study of public hospitals in Australia found they were less likely at Full Moon. Psychologists point out that there is a difference between correlation and causation. The mere fact that two events happen at the same time doesn't mean that there is a cause and effect relationship between the two.
Neopagans hold a monthly ritual called an Esbat at each Full Moon.
Many people practicing traditional Chinese religions prepare their ritual offerings to their ancestors and deities on every Full Moon and New Moon.

Well, what kinda stuff is happening? The moon phases can be blamed for a lot of things, in fact in Medieval times it was believed that to sleep out in the light of the full moon could drive you crazy. So... what's happening?

Ride it out. If you know you're going to be difficult track the callendar and avoid people on the Moon is full. Lunacy is not a mental illness, just a propensity to react to lunar gravity. Ask anyone who works a graveyard shift serving the public and they'll tell you that everyone goes a bit nuts when the moon is full.

About your personal stuff, sorry not enough info.
But, the moon controlls the ocean tides and since humans are almost totally water, it really does affect personalities and behavior. Violent crime rises during full moons. Where do you think the word LUNA-TIC comes from?
Just saw your details. I wouldn't worry about it. It'll pass get a good night sleep eat some green vegatables or take a multipurpose vitamin, apologize to anyone who Really has one coming and forget about it
Good luck

well the full moon isnt untill tomorrow. so rule that out.
let me tell you its all about energy. its in your mind. If you think that youll have bad luck then you will.you have to keep things positive. everyone has days when everything goes wrong. the full moon isnt bad luck. its the day when things happen. I have trouble explaining it but you can talk to an astrologer and they can explain it better. go to the astrology rooms on yahoo. they can be pretty helpful.

Yes at least go outside in the last of the full moon and take off your foot wear and ground yourself. and take in the energy of the Moon and the Earth .and see if you can find the source of that which disturbs you.
