I agree totally, young people today don't know what real music is.
but my son really likes it.
so I guess it is just a matter of taste.

I do have to agree that there are not many Christian bands that really rock> Stairway to heaven is by no means a christian song. It is a song by Led Zeppelin, which is definately not a christian band.

Stairway to Heaven is about entering the Fairy Worlds through the use of psychotropic substances. Magic, mystery, psychedelic drugs, fun, wonder, etc. The antithesis of the modern Christian Church.

Because not much rhymes with "Jesus"
By the way, I think stairway to heaven is either about getting laid or about doing drugs. I havent heard it in years though. Could be wrong.
Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. Christan Rock is Rock without the Sex and Drugs. Whats the fun in that?

I like SOME Christian rock. Petra, Johnny Q Public, Newsboys, Jars of Clay...and a couple others.
I agree with you on that, though. Most Christian artists are unfortunately NOT as good as their secular counterparts.
Stairway to Heaven, Christian. Ha ha.

All the ones I listen have a great beat. I guess you really don't listen to all that much music. Some are hard core rock, and rap.

That is so true...
I am a Christian by the way.
Money and production value may affect the quality as well.

You might want to re-direct your question to the music section. After all spirituality has nothing to do with christian 'music'?
