BFF? Help me out here.
Best friend's father? If so, that's sick
Best friend's friend? Hey, your friend should be happy for you.

I suspect you mean b/fs friend by BFF. In any case, it means you don't want to keep your present b/f and are looking for someone else. However, you don't want to give up your present b/f until you find someone else.
That is certainly sensible, but selfish. It isn't really being fair to your b/f. You should tell your b/f how you are feeling so he has a chance of meeting someone else too.

My daughter has a best friend for 14 years, she loved him so much, so she told him last new years, guess what he felt the same ,but was scared he would lose a friend. they are together now, the perfect couple. take a chance.

This is a tough situation, I've gone through it and got the wrong end of the stick. unfortunately my best answer would just be to talk with your friends about it, tell them that you like him too. then maybe, just try to get out of it, stop liking him cause it may hurt your friendship...which is better friendship or possible bf? good luck, you definitely are in a pickle. talk to me more if you want to hear my story. maybe it will help, maybe not.

If you spill your guts and tell him, he might not feel the same way and you will ruin it.
You should flirt with him and see how he reacts to that. If he doesn't respond, your friendship is still in tact. Nothing is wrong with a little flirting.
But if he does respond back.... ;-)
Good luck :)

What is there to be afraid about...the worst case would be he wouldn't be interested...at least you would know and stop worrying about something that may not even be an issue.

Get him as soon as possible. Screw your friends, they will stab you in the back in a heartbeat.
