"All personnel requesting command sponsorship or joint domicile must submit DA Form 4187 and DA Form 5888 through
their local redeployment section to Cdr, 8th PERSCOM. A travel decision will be made once all
documents have been received and a travel approval or disapproval message will be transmitted to the servicing
redeployment section. Arranging for or executing family member travel prior to receiving approval from 8th PERSCOM could
result in serious financial difficulties upon arrival in Korea."

First, check your orders... it should outline the process.. and also should have funding for your dependent's travel... If not, go see your personnel troops or your 1STSGT... they should have the documentation on how to apply... generally the rule in Korea is E-6 and above get command sponsorship, E-5 and below on a case-by-case basis. But, if you don't get command sponsorship, I think it is only a 2 year or 18 month tour for you... check out that part too....

I got an unaccompanied 12 month tour (USN)...
