I was out with some friends today when i came across a wallet with four hundred dollars in it,did you see that? I said 400 big ones! My friends told me we should split it three ways, but I decided (because i have a conscious) that i should return the wallet money and all, to the rightful owner,Did i do the right thing?
I feel bad because i thought about taking the money because i had 6.00 bucks to my name that i spent, but i just know that no good would've come to me.I just need for someone who's spiritual to re assure me and tell me that i did the right thing, please.

yes you did the right thing. we never know what the other peoples situation is, that might have been their rent, or all the money they had to live on for the rest of the month. the wallet also might have had their drivers licence in it and social security card pictures of their children.
thinking about taking the money is natural, but giving it back was the right thing.
I think you should be proud of your self.

Absolutely, you did the right thing. Good job! Many people wouldn't have.
Perhaps some day you'll lose your wallet, with a large amount of money in it...and someone will be conscientious enough to return it to you.

You did the right thing, because that money could have been the last four hundred dollars that person had. The money might have been their rent money or money for food for their children. Don't question it, you followed your conscious and it shows you are a good person, not motivated by greed.

Why do you even need reassurance? You didn't steal. Sheesh. That doesn't even take spirituality, that's just plain human decency. If someone found your wallet with $400 of your cash in it, would you want them to have returned it or to have kept it?
No?
Well then, there ya' go.

just think of it this way. the person who lost that money could have 4 kids and that could be their bill money. you may have given a very worried family relief. what you did was defanetly the right thing. its a shame that more people arent that honest.
of course the thought of keeping it crossed your mind. Its human nature but look....in the end you did the right thing. nothing gained but nothing lost either right? its great to know that theres still honesty in this world.
blessed be!

You did the right thing. How would you feel if you'd lost $400? That $400 could've been for the owner's rent, car payment or something else important.

Yes...you did the right thing...the devil was whispering to you to split it three ways...he was tempting you, which in turn means stealing!! But he couldn't get through because the Holy Spirit said return it!!
Good on you!!

Congratulations on doing the right thing. Don't feel guilty at being tempted. You should feel good because you did what you knew was right anyway.
