I am sorry for the lost of your friend. Unfortunately, these things happen and we always seem to question God during those times. Why these things happen, why us ? Very hard times, I know for personal experience as well. The only thing that I can say is to thank God for the wonderful friendship you had and this person was a part of your life if even for a short time. Some people are less fortunate and never experience a true friendship like you seemed to have. I am sure you have wonderful memories and try to think of those , when you feel down.

That is very sad about your friend. Its easy to get mad at God for alot of things these days.
Im not sure how your friend got the disease but however it was it didnt ''serve her right'' if it was a matter of ''free will'', at least I dont think.
In todays world I guess a better question would be, why did God allow AIDS in the first place?
Your friend could have died in 1000 different ways. Its an inevitable fact that in one way or another we are all going to go.
Some people have horrible deaths, others go quietly and happy without suffering. There is no explanation. It depends on what you believe and how you see things.
Its easy to be mad at God but what should really matter to you is the memories you have of your friend and hopefully if what alot of people believe is true some day you will be together again..

Please don't blame God for Helen's passing. He gave us free will and I am guessing that she had a female partner or had unprotected sex with some dog who did it to her. If either reasons are right, than poor Helen made some bad choices in her life. You can, if you choose, sustain her blessed memory by talking to kids and telling them what happened to her. I am sure that she is one of God's angels and will be looking down at you and glad that you did. Take this trajic incident and put it to use as a positive one to help those who might be tempted to do likewise. I know how you feel, I lost my best friend at age 19, She died of an asma attack. Good luck. Your story has touched my heart.

given that she's a wonderful person as u mentioned it, GOD allows sufferings and uncertainties for some reasons. we may not know now but someday we will understand why.. if it's GOD's will, so be it.. everything is meant to be.. Do not blame GOD for what happened. there's a reason behind everything.. In a way, u should be happy because she's now in heaven with the LORD.. GOD Bless!

Actually God has given humans the power of free will, and therefore can't interfere with our doings. The only things he can help us with are our inner struggles. God didn't give her aids.
I'm sorry that you lost Helen.

If you know anything about God's word you ask in Jesus Name. I come on here and people ask the same question all the time. I am not even a full pledged Christan and I now that. If you want God to do something in your life you must ask. and believe.

i m so sorry to hear tht..
i feel e same like u, but of a different topic. Y do god allow ppl to go thru so much suffering? to learn more abt life?? i guess, before tis person could master abt life, he/she is already dead (mentally or physically) , of the pain, of the suffering, of all the emotional thg tht is going thru..

HI MY FRIEND! YOU MUST KNOW GOD NEVER SEND US ANY SICKNESS. PEOPLE LIKE YOUR FRIEND HELEN HAD THE CHOICE FOR AVOIDING DIFFERENT ILLNESSES AS YOU AND ME, BUT EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON US, BELEAVE ME GOD DOESN´T HAVE ANY PARTICIPATION IN THAT PROCESS.
AT LEAST SHE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY OF LIVING AND DECIDING IF SHE WANTED TO DO GOD´S WILL IN HER LIFE OR NOT.
NOWADAYS AIDS IS A COSEQUENCE OF BAD DECISIONS IN OUR LIFES.
TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE.

i really agree with the others answer that GOD give every living being not just HUMAN BEING a free will to do what he will...
and in your friends case i understand that u must be sad but c'mon think again its her fault ( i'm so sorry) to get disease, and for surely all of us we know that what cause AIDS??!!
rite?
if she died in cancer or any other disease myb u can blame god..
but in this case.. u shouldnt blame him...
and just in case, have u ever heard that GOOD PEOPLE DIED MORE FASTER THAN BAD PEOPLE??!!
myb thats it..
-peace up-
