I have this Chemistry teacher. She became my favorite teacher because I love Chemistry, she's good at teaching and she has become very close to me since the day we won the Science Quiz Bee. But, I wonder why she is still single even if she's kind, intelligent, rich, beautiful. She looks too young for her age.

It seems people believe one must be married or have another to be satisfied or happy, I cannot agree. It is lonely sometimes, but there is a richness and wisdom gained by solitude you cannot gain with another. It is a private personnel journey well worth the lounging. It seems people climb in and out of "life" with others on many different levels investing tidbits, expecting rose gardens or, throwing themselves at each other believing it is love. This lady sounds smart, wise. She is also your teacher and there are ethics to consider.

Dude, not everyone has the urge to get married in their early 20's. Some people have goals, or simply haven't met the right person yet. Teachers keep their private lives quiet because, well, they're private. Define close man because I'm close with my Graphic Design lecturer who is also kind, intelligent, well off, and very beautiful but even though there is occational flirting we both know that it simply isn't kosher. Do you mean single like she isn't married?
Another point, teachers are paid to be nice to students- it's part of their job. Teachers especially like students with good work ethics because they follow similar goals. So don't be a nerd dude, if you really were close with your teacher, you'd know why she was single.
I know why my lecturer is single, and it's a damn good reason but then again I found out because we are close.

Perhaps she hasn't found the right person yet. There's nothing wrong with being single at 30, there are plenty of thirty somethings who are not in relationships. Maybe she just got out of a relationship and wants to be alone for awhile.

I will assume for the moment that she's straight, though of course, she might not be.
Teachers are often single, particularly females. They don't meet many men during the work day (just kids and other, mostly female, teachers), and they spend most nights and weekends grading (if they're serious about their jobs, as most are). When they do meet guys, the guys are married to their friends.
Once one is out of college, getting into relationships is tough, particularly for jobs like hers.
(This does not mean you should go for her. She's your teacher, for cryin' out loud.)

lots of reasons dude, and they are all for her to keep personal too.
don't be getting any funny ideas about getting into her pants. she's in a position of authority and has worked hard to become a teacher and one simple slip with a student is enough to ruin her career. you wouldn't want to be the cause of that would you?
if you like her, then you can wait until you are out of school to do anything with her.
if you are just keen for a bonk, then find someone your own age and enjoy them, coz you'll not be putting anyone's career in jeopardy.

Seeing she's a teacher i very much doubt she's rich lol. Maybe shes a lesbian and has a gf but doesnt want her students to know.

Not the only one, there are a lot of teachers that are dedicated to their work and don't really have time for family life, and find fulfilment in the work they are doing.

Maybe she is engaged but just haven't had the wedding ceremony? Maybe she didn't wear her ring? Maybe she is superstitous b'cause the fortune-teller say she can't marry unless she is 30s...Maybe her mother forbid her? Maybe her boyfriend didn't want to marry soon? Maybe she is too flirt...etc
