I raised Jewish. I don't believe it anymore. In fact, I don't think I ever really did. How many people really honestly believe the crap they tell other people?

About religion, people. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted this question here.

I try to keep an open mind, which has made it that much harder to find a religon that works for me. I believe in sin and forgiveness, Heaven and Hell, and that Jesus was here, died for us, and will return. But at the same time, I believe that being homosexual doesn't mean you're going to Hell no matter what, or that every sin is deserving of forgiveness. I have a lot of different beliefs that dont mesh well with a lot of religions, but I DO believe them. It's like the movie "Dogma" says, I don't necessarily believe but I have a good idea.
So... to answer your question in the simplest form: Yes, I believe the crap I tell people. I am also willing to change that crap if I feel I must.

Not to be rhetorical, but in effect, you simply saying that you no longer believe is "spouting crap." Now, do you really believe that you do not believe? If so, then you truely believe the crap that you are spouting--in much the same way that I, or anyone else, believes.

I am NOT Jewish, I am a Atheist. I only speak of facts on here or give my opinion on here, in which case I always say " I Believe" or " I personally Believe". So yeah I believe everything I speak of.

The mind believes everything that comes out of the mouth and cannot tell the difference between the truth and a lie. We are snared by the words of our mouths. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Choose this day blessings or cursing, life or death choose life. We have power over the tongue over life and death.

I understand Judaism is very, very conservative, very familial, and very traditional.

God knows we go through phases of struggling and understanding. Maybe you need some fresh air for a year or two...? Get some perspective.

Don't dismiss everything immediately. Find a Christian mentor. Let him or her know what you're going through and ask if you can talk with them from time to time. Let them know you need knowledge and perspective, not an emotional trip or dogma.

Wow you have fallen right off the faith train and into the mud. It sounds like you have a major attitude because of the things people tried to push on you. I see a oppressive father figure and a stern mother who tried to beat the word of God into you and look what happened. Please try and have patients with people not everyone is trying to convert you.

Depends on which crap you're referring to.

Religious crap? Nope, as I'm not religious. Personal crap? Usually, as I tend to tell the truth (unless it's to people who have no interest or meaning to me, then I'll tell bald-faced lies if it suits my purposes).

it is a similar on the two edge. all of us that gets blended up in politics and thinks they understand all of it frequently finally end up spouting out a collection of senseless junk that no-one could have self belief. it is the people who stay daily and don't label themselves "Conservatives", "liberals", "Republican", "Democrat", or any of that who stay a extra perfect existence. properly till they arrive across any of those variety and get dragged right into a controversy approximately "who's extra desirable".
