This happened at the Installing Stage of OpenOffice.org 2.0 program. Also get wrong OS version used. Using Windows XP Special Edition. Have the same problems with other programs as well. Installed the latest version of Windows Installer without any success.

This is a very common problem with Windows XP.

First try creating a new user account with admin rights and then try installing.
If it still doesnt happen, then copy paste the error message in the search box in www.support.microsoft.com and im sure you will find a few workarounds.
