Don't take that as a compliment. Young souls have to live many lives till they get it right, often time they are reckless and have little regard for others. So if you are a young soul this lesson will make you a little older. god bless

Do not know about a young soul, how ever, a young person with an old soul is a teenager who has wisdom and maturity before his years. They are are rare breed. And are always good kids. Finding one of these would be just like finding ya soul mate. They say that if wisdom does not kick in before 25, there is serious needs that should be identified.

No. There's just different personalities that people relate to either a young or old soul and in between. I dislike it when people say "my 5 year old is an old soul". Then you meet the kid and they're picking their nose and whining like all the other 5 year olds.

I think it is possible, I have actually told my friend that she has an old soul. Just by the things she says sometimes and does and what she likes and dislikes. It's actually sort of funny to me. But I think it's possible for people to have "old souls" or "young souls".

I feel as if I posses and old soul, since I was a child I've felt different from others. I can tell when others carry old souls also because you can sense a certain presence within them, like they have wisdom beyond their years. And we are aware of each other being in the same room, and able to communicate in a sense through our eyes and thought without saying a word. It also gives a sense of peace and well being, as if your with your own kind.

Basically, by calling you a 'young soul', they're saying that you're incredibly naive when it comes to the greater scheme of things, and that you have a lot of growing up to do.

In Psychology, there is a puer(youth) and a Senex( Old man )Archetype.

So that is the same thing. So people are closer to the puer Archetype and these I think would be considered "young souls."

And some people have more Senex traits, and I think these would be considered "old souls"

No, I don' t believe that because it contradicts what the Bible says. It's all a bunch of mystical hogwash that people who want to sound wise put off on other people so that you will think that they have an "old soul" or something like that. But the Bible clearly teaches that we are born once and when we die will will have to give an account to God of how we have lived our lives here on earth.

For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:24-28

I hope that you trust in Jesus for your salvation so that when it comes time for your judgment you can say that Jesus paid your sin debt for you so that you don't have to pay for it yourself by being excluded from the love and presence of God for all eternity.
