Short answer: Because they can.
Long answer: Many guys have an inbuilt desire...especially when younger...to "sow their oats". They have a inner fear of being tied down and held back. Some guys never want to settle down no matter how old they get--all depends on the guy.

There's a reason. I may be lame, infantile, or selfish but ther IS a reason. Possibilities are that he was after 1 thing that he got, then split. Or was'nt interested, but did'nt know how to say so without hurt feelings. Or, who knows? I've been in your positon (with the woman leaving obviously) and learned to self examine to the extent that I feel I've not done something socially dumb, then move on. If I've put my foot in my mouth, or something like that, I'll try to remember not to do it. More than that, and you're letting the person have power over you by remote, when they're down the road and unaware/unconcerned about it. Easy to say, I know, but tough to do. I'm not always able to pull it off either. Don't mean it ain't good advice though. :-)

Some men do that after you sleep with them or even if you dont. Thats just them bein a jerk and a coward rather then them comin right out and say they want nothing to do with you. Some men leave and never look back because sex is all they wanted. Others get scared off for some reason.....may not even be your fault. If they do this then dont worry about it....the problem lies with them.

There is always a reason behind dissapearing. Normaly men disapear after achieving their targets.

because they are not that into but cant tell u to your face OR because they are afraid of commitment. he is probably young, immature, and doesnt know what he wants
