When people all go out together why does one person exaggerate what really happened in their blog?

I think four answers before mine are ALL good and ALL correct to one extent or another. Good storey tellers must, and liars do; so everyone falls somewhere inbetween.

Well, for one thing its more exciting. I mean, I'm sure you would rather read the exaggerated version of girl's night out than the real version. And if the story is funny, it will be even funnier.

just like writing a movie or a book....it is based on true story but u have to exaggerate some scenes to make it more interesting.....
