i think only you can decide however my friends mum had breast cancer and had both her breasts removed and the doctor told my friend that she could be tested for the disease to see if she might get it in the future which she was going to do until he told her this
if she was to get tested and it showed that she did have the cells then if he ever got asked about her health by life insurance policies he would have to tell them so she would not be able to get life insurance if a mortgage company asked about her health he would have to tell them and she would not be able to get a mortgage because she might have the cancerous cells so sometimes it best not to find out i don't know how true this is and whether it is everywhere or just the UK but i think it is something you need to seriously think about before doing something i wish you good luck in whatever you decide to do and i hope your mum is OK xx

yes do get checked, cancer can hit you ,and you don't even know you have it. I just lost my husband feb 10 2006 to lung/ bone cancer, the only reason we knew is he got back pain. it had metatised from lung to back, he lived 13 mo. he was already in stage 4 by jan 27 2005
please get checked out. whole body.my husband also had small cell lung cancer,they said it was slow growing, but by time we found out, by his back hurting it was to late.
