I was taken, by suprise, to an adult toy shop for my last bday, and it was (and still is!) about the perfect gift.

A surprise lunch/dinner can make his day, just make sure to invite all his loved ones - family and closest friends - because it will mean so much to him to be surrounded by all the people who means the world to him, most esp you who worked hard in planning for it.
Just the same you can give something he'd really like to have (and yet he still haven't had).. Guys normally collect stuff. Find out what else he collects and then add to his collection in the form of a gift. That will really mean big to him being able to know what he really likes. OR you can also buy a his and hers stuffs, which if it's a cool shirt, you can try to wear together for dinner.

first of all it's not the gift but the thought that counts. you could get him a chain ,a watch.if he is into sports, get him his team, shirt, hat, I got mine a bible with his name engraved, he loved it. just let it be from the heart.
