I met my husband at work. I was a fresh graduate when I got in and he was an officer already that I'd call him "Sir or Mister (his name)". It seems that we were the only 2 singles at work that his co-officers and my bosses would oftenly tease and/or set us up. But we really never give so much attention on them and took our time. I was enjoying my work and wanted to do well and so was he.
For a year, we were already very close friends (and I always believe friendship is the best foundation of a good relationship). We dated each other EXCLUSIVELY for 3 months and formalized the relationship on the 4th month. 3 years later, we got engaged and got married a year after. Now we're already married for 2 years, both working out of the country and still trying to conceive soon.
He's really worth all the waiting and we've always felt it was FATE that brought us together. We're just so compatible in so many ways... and I've never really felt happier. He makes my life complete. =)

I met my current boyfriend at work. Yeah, everyone says you shouldn't get involved with someone you work with, but we've been fine so far. The hardest thing is keeping it a secret from everyone else.

We'd been friends for over a year before he asked me to be his girlfriend. I had a boyfriend when I first met him, but had a crush on him from day one. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea for us to date because of the working together thing and because of a slight language barrier (he doesn't speak English very well, I hardly know any Spanish), but I decided to give it a shot anyway and I'm glad I did.

At work. We shared an office and were locked in that room together for 60+ hours a week...it's impossible not to get to know someone in an environment like that. And I think that it would go only one of two ways: You get utterly sick of them and can't stand them, or you develop strong feelings for them and can't be without them. Whatever it is, I'm so glad about it. It was definitely fate.

I met my bf on Internet, or WAP rather, chat. believe it or not. it was love at first "chat". we clicked on the first "hello". and since we became friends first we now have a strong and intimate relationship.

At that time i met him, I was still dating his best friend. i ran into him, my new bf, at the mall. We went for coffee, cheated for hours, really. until he accidentally slipped that my bf, at that time, was seeing another girl. well to make a long story short, i burst into tears, he comforted me, supported me in confronting my bf, his best friend. And here we are.

He broke up his friendship with his friend, and asked me to be his gf two weeks after my breakup. We're dating now for almost two months.

and the best part is, each day he surprises me with a romantic gesture. he really is the best. i truly love him. and i wouldn't change one single thing!

i met my wife 15 years ago in school and i had a crush on her, yet i was more of a shy type, and she was a talkative type, i really never thought that we'd ever see eye to eye...... i seen her down at a Halloween party and i was a gorgeous girl...lol she went casual.. we hooked up, i had that liquid nerve.... and she asked me to dance, one thing led to another and she married me, go figure she had a crush on me too, so even though she was loud, she was shy too :) been married since 97, yeah i still do the Halloween thing every year with her, it's a turning point in my life that I'd never change.
