They know that dogs are being killed every minute due to overpopulation, yet they still breed for their own personal satisfaction. or for the money. or to see the miracle of birth. all that jazz. They choose to make the whole "pets are dying because of people like me" other people's problems. (like the people who have to put dogs down) surely these people can't be happy with themselves. and honestly, i don't care WHO you are, if you are "breeding to make some quick cash" or breeding cause "their mom is just SOOO Cute.. i want 10 babies JUST like her" or "every mom should have a litter" you are still a greedy, selfish, unhappy person.

Yes ,there are a lot of bad breeders out there who are only in it to make money.These are the puppy-mills,backyard breeders and novices who don't even know anything about heat cycles,gestation periods,care of the pregnant b***h,or general puppy care.But there are also some good breeders who do it for the love of the breed.These breeders will have both parents checked for brucellosis before breeding,screen them for hip dysplasia,progressive retinal atrophy,heart problems,Von Willibrand's disease,and any other congenital or inherited diseases common to their breed.They will wait until the dogs are fully mature, test their temperaments,make sure all vaccinations are up to date,have them on heartworm preventative,feed them a premium dog food,and look for exactly the right dog to breed to theirs.They might have to pay for a C-section,bottle or tube feed runts or large litters.Then they will have all of the puppies checked for any health problems,get them wormed,vaccinated and micro-chipped,and feed them a premium puppy food.By the time the puppies are ready to sell,they are lucky to make 50.00 on a pup,and they will take back any pups,at any time,and if they can't re-home them,they will keep them.All puppies who do not fit the standard must be spayed/neutered,and sold without papers to insure that no one breeds them.Those are the only people who should be allowed to breed dogs (or cats);people who truly love and care for the welfare of their animals.

I agree, they are the same people whom breed themselves. They can't be parents, just breeders. So, if they are good parents why would they be responsible breeders?

i agree that is very selfish and yes they do not have a conscience, In fact it should be illegal
