i had a great 4.3 in mine and it was 4-wheel but it road so nice you would never think IT was a truck. I'm from the north but i hill billied it, i got nice body shaped mudd flairs and flaps and save the harsh winter lower body some protection and it in it's self has all that the truck needed to look right, here in the mid west

Dude, it depends on what you want to do with it! Do you think you'll go off road any?,(try a lowered truck and low profiles on off road....NO!) Is it just going to be for the street? What kind of street roads do you have, around here they're cattle trails with a little bit of asphalt on them, in fact a guy was driving down one of our city roads the other day, and lost his truck in a pothole,(we're still lookin' for it!) If you do lower it, DO IT RIGHT! A lot of guy's come up to me, and say," Hey check out my ride", I get in and bounce my teeth out because they cut the springs, and dropped it down to the snubber's! DO TI RIGHT!
