i'm thinking of moving to paramount but there's a good job in orange, how bad is the commute???

Looks like you'd be taking eastbound 91 to southbound 5. 5 is definitely going to be slow during commute time because of all the people piling on from 57 and 22, I've been through that. It's about 20 miles from Paramount to Orange so you'll need to allow quite a bit of time.

I'll tell you what, I'll take the good job in Orange, YOU move to Paramount, that way YOU won't have to commute! Problem solved! I should be in charge. I'm such a giver.

I would be more concerned about PARAMOUNT than the commute.
That's a pretty rough neighborhood. I moved away from there 20 years ago seeking a more peaceful lifestyle without gunfire keeping me awake at night.
