I find it so stomach turning that a creature with a soul as twisted and foul as hers could hide her sick intentions so easily behind a veneer of moral integrity. T o think that so many people are blindly willing to leave their own children in this repulsive creatures' power. It's like using a fox to guard the chickens.

No one here can speak for another person whom we don't even know. But if she has a calling from God on her life to be used to help raise up a new generation of children to go and spread the gospel message it could be that as many have been wondering as they read the current news about Iran and N Korea and the Atom Bomb, that the end is closer than we think.

First I have not seen the movie, but I do know that the entire bible, both old and new testament teaches us to lay down our life for God.
This does not "mean" our secular worlds definition of lay down your life. It means that we are to submit our bodies and our lives to Gods will for us. We are to cast off the "old" (our own self will and way) and put on Gods will and way and live in that manner.
We are also taught that we will fail at this as no one can be perfect, but we are to strive for this goal.
Because I have not watched this movie and the Christain radio stations that I listened to have been strangely quiet on this particular movie, it may be extreme or taken by the camp director in a singular isssue sort of way, rather than a life changing event sort of way.
Our lives are not to be about sorrow, but joy that we have been granted understanding of the narrow and difficult path.

Christianity is not about 'laying down your life.' Extremists of every religion attempt to remake the nature and essence of their spirituality in their own image. Their values are legislated as the proper values and others who disagree are heretics. This attitude creates divisiveness and fuels prejudice and misunderstanding. It can be caused by the same set of circumstances. It is a reciprocal notion.

She's probably a child molester like Mr. Foley ... putting herself in a position of power and authority over children under the guise of guiding them down a good path solely to feed her own immoral desires.

I wonder the same thing. I've seen the previews for that movie and it freaks me out even though I am a christian. To me it seems like a cult or not true....kind of disturbing.

She knows that she, by herself, would be completely ineffective. That's why she's creating her own little army. And she's preying on children. I don't care what her motives are...to me, it's abuse. Making children cry and feel guilty for being children is SO WRONG!

i agree with you so much that all needs to be attraction instead of promotion you know? instead of the forcing of someone's will unto the vulnerable.....childs /adults.....if the holy spirit within us all wants something for us we will know where to be ....children ..especially need the freedom and to be encouraged to follow their own hearts where their own personal truth resides and be able to follow this....
