Yes. I believe that as long as you keep your fists clenched at least to the optimum point then it can really, really, really happen.

It is important to remember though, that the clenching action must not be released after too short a period nor must it be prolonged beyond the point that it all happens.

Releasing the clench too soon may result in it happening only partially and this could be disastrous. Clenching your fists too long could make it really really really really happen, and this none of us are ready for.

If you make that your ritual, it can very well become your way to get out of yourself.
But there seems to be contradiction within your question. if you really really believe, you don't need to make it so, since you REALLY believe (and I'm assuming you're talking about believing in a power greater than yourself right?).
I think it's just good to remember that it's not about ritual, it's about the heart...
