If a guy doesn't get any action (as in something that cannot be shown on prime time TV) in the first month or so, it's time to move on. Nine out of ten times, when a girl and a guy have been seeing each other for a long time and are not having sex (or at least getting hot and heavy) the girl is playing the guy for a sucker.

Yes, that is grossly unfair of the one out of ten girls that is chaste, but that is just the way the proverbial cookie crumbles. After all, most would agree that a good sex life is important to any relationship.

Disclaimer: This only applies to grown men and women. The rules for you teens out there are different. You guys do what feels comfortable. Don't let anyone pressure you into anything.

You can't get a specific answer to a question like that. Every guy is different. But in any case, if a girl isn't ready to have sex, she should be looking for another man who isn't pressuring her into having sex. Same goes for a girl pressuring a guy. You're probably not right for each other if you're not on the same timeline.

It depends. If I'm happy with where the relationship is at the moment then no, but if I feel we should move on to another level and if part of that level is sex and she feels she's not ready, I'm willing to wait, just not forever. If she doesn't want to take it to the next intimacy level, I'd think she wasn't really in to me, or has some issues and is not being forthcoming.

hi there,

i can't answer for myself because im married but the way i see it is for a person to be Dating someone and not want to have sex with the other person ( not that i think because you date someone that gives the situation an open ticket for sex) ...

If you don't want to have sex and the reason is because you simply don't want to thats fair enough but if the situation as your relationship of sorts doesn't have any long term plans for either party sounds to me like there isn't to much attraction on your behalf....

good luck

When I was 16 I'd have to say yes. Now that I'm 26, it's a lot different. A lasting relationship is more important to me now. If she doesn't want to have sex, I'd respect her values, and would move on to another subject.

depends on the guy, for some sex is everything. but a good & stable guy goes for a meaningful & lasting relationship. remember sex is a way of taking love to above the physical level when 2 people become one. i will give primary importance to the wishes of the girl & not impose my will on her.
besides if you go in for sex in a relationship, it hardly lasts long

I would talk to her first and find out why ? Maybe she thinks its to early in the relationship and wants to make sure its some thing that is going to last. There is more to a relationship than sex.

Not if she had a great personality, and a brain. Definately not. Depends on what u mean by 'no' sex too. Gotta be some intimacy, and affection, without worry.

Depends.....if she is a really great person or not. If she is a so so person...maybe a month..if not it ends. If she has a wonderful attitude and everything I would wait for here for about 2 months..or maybe 3
