More than half of undocumented workers actually pay tax -- the withholding tax and FICA and unemployment tax are collected from the employer anyway. Even though an undocumented alien cannot usually benefit. (The only ones who can are those who were previously legal, or who are old enough so that they got proper documents in the 1970s when citizenship wasn't a requirement.)
People who "evade" social security tax grow old just like the rest of us. Every social security officer can tell you stories of how they come in to get their pensions going, and express surprise when theere's no record of their eligibility for social security or Medicare!

I think alot of inbread rednecks are just mad that their lazy *** can't make any money and they see immigrants (who are not all Mexican, but you wouldn't know that since you are not educated) prospering in this racist country. Illegals have nice homes and nice new cars but the rednecks that don't want to work but claim they lost their job to an immigrant, while they are living in a trailer park with their cousin\wife.
First of all let me clarify the situation for those that only speak from what they hear on the TV. Illegals as many call them (Its funny how we don't even call murderers, child abusers illegal but we call those that cross into the US --Misdemeanor-- Illegal), do contribute a lot into the economy. Most end up paying taxes in many forms, sales tax, many illegals own homes and pay property taxes, those that make up social security numbers or use others SSN pay taxes that they never file to get refunds. Those that buy homes will fix the borrowed SSN's credit by paying off their collections and raising their credit scores so they can by homes. By working for cheap they help reduce the price of many items that we Americans use every day. You ***** about $3/gallon gas, how about $3 cabbage, $7/lb tomatoes, how about Motel 6 raising their price to $60 a night instead of $37. The fact is working Americans are getting old and many jobs are being left open. We need new young workers.Illegals put money into SS so the older americans can have health care.
Illegals don't use the health care system as many people claim. I know many that are too scared to go to the hospital or use any public aid. They will visit clinincs and pay cash or got to Catholic charities health centers and pay cash as well. The fact is that Americans themselves are draining the health care system not illegals.I would stop deportations and raids now!! I would give a period of 6-12 months were evey illegal would have to register. Those that don't would face fines or late fees to registered upto 30 days after the grace period. Have all of them go through background checks. Those that are cleared if the can prove they have been here 7+ years and have a family would be given citizenship. 3-6 yrs given residency. Less than 3 given a work permit and have to re-apply to get it again. Guest worker program as many illegals just come to work for a few months and return. Not everyone likes it here. Deport the criminals with violent crimes.

Perhaps you mean Illegal ALIEN worker?
An illegal worker could be anyone who was violating the law in some way -- including a U.S. Citizen getting paid off the books (which is very illegal -- and makes them illegally employed and an illegal worker).
The focus these days seems to be on illegal aliens (that is, people who have entered the country illegally) holding down jobs. However, ALL workers avoiding taxes for ANY REASON are, by defiintion, illegal workers.
Illegal:
Against the law. Behavior that can result in either criminal sanctions, such as prison sentences or fines, or civil sanctions, such as liability or injunctions, is illegal.

Both are illegal.
The tax-evaders won't be deported though, not if they are citizens. You can't deport a citizen. But you can send them to jail if they are caught, and fine them.
People are more worked up over illegals than about tax evaders because the money that the tax evaders is making is being cycled back into the U.S. economy. Only some of the money that illegals make finds its way into the U.S. economy...most of it is sent to family in Mexico, where it becomes a part of that country's economy.

There is no difference in the taxes.. the difference is the money the illegal makes goes to Mexico and the money the US Citizen makes is spent in the US. If is was not for ALL of the MILLIONS of dollars sent to Mexico by the illegals, Mexican economy would collapse. Plus the Illegal is here in the US ILLEGALLY and is a criminal and the US citizen is legal. Comprenda?

It is not about taxes, it is not about illegal workers, its about making us all made enough to vote for more government control, that way when they take away more of your freedoms and have more control of your life it was because you asked for it, and their is no going back after that happens, they are simply using the poor Mexican workers as bait, feeding the media all the crazy lies to get the big trick going,my proof is Mexicans have been coming and going back home for years working here, and never was their this much uproar in the past, they are letting as many come as possible with promises of open jobs the job is you and i and the bad thing is they are using poor peoples lives to play their evil game, watch the media during the elections, they will use illegal immigration as their platform this year.

A US citizen who breaks the law is subject to laws in the US, but there is no law in the USA that requires a US citizen's citizenship to be taken away and for that person to be deported if they break the law.
There are laws however that prohibit an alien worker from breaking the law, and if that alien worker does break the law, he or she is subject to deportation. It is the same in most western countries and the US is no exception.
And if you don't have time to sit around and argue these issues, don't ask the question in this forum because you will most decidely get answers from U.S. citizens.

The undocumented worker is breaking the law just by being in the country. A citizen is only breaking the law when he/she commits an illegal act. I'm sort of curious as to where you would deport citizens who do not pay taxes.

The difference is that the US citizen has the right to be in the US and the illegal worker does not. The US citizen who works off the books will be charged as the criminal that he is, but he is a US citizen and so our laws apply to him and he will be dealt with when he is found. The illegal does not have a right to be here, in the first place. As such, he should not be our concern. He should be in his own country, working off the books if that is his chosen way of life, and therefore be a concern of his own country as the criminal that he is. No, we will not deport US citizens who break our laws - we will deal with them under our laws, but we should deport illegal immigrants because they should not be here breaking our laws, in the first place.
Along the same line, when people complain that a violent crime has been committed by an illegal and that crime would not have been committed if that illegal immigrant was not here in the first place, illegal immigrant supporters will say, "So what, legal American citizens commit violent crimes, too!" The difference is, that American citizen who commits a crime IS our problem, but that illegal citizen who commits a crime should NOT be our problem - he/she should be the problem of his/her own country, committing his/her crimes there instead of here in the USA!
Also, when people complain about illegal immigrants receiving social benefits such as welfare and free medical care, illegal immigrant supporters say, "So what, many lazy Americans also receive social benefits such as welfare and free medical care." However, the difference is that the American citizen who receives social benefits is just that, AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. Our social benefits are for our legal American citizens and NOT for illegal immigrants who DO NOT pay into these benefits, in the first place.
Then, illegal immigrant supporters like to say that illegal immigrants DO pay taxes - they pay sales taxes every time they buy stuff - hahahaha, this is not the major tax that Amerians pay - the major tax Americans pay is INCOME TAX which pays for the infrastructure of the USA, such as roads, hospitals, schools, etc.
Then, also illegal immigrant supporters will say that MANY illegal immigrants DO pay income taxes and EVEN social security deductions off of their paychecks and they never even get to receive their income tax refunds or social security! HELLOOOOO! The only illegal immigrants who pay this off of their paychecks are those who are using fraudulent/stolen SSNs and that, again, is another criminal offense! They are devastating people whom they have stolen IDs from.
Another common theme here espoused by the illegal immigrant supporters is that illegal immigrants only take the jobs away from American citizens because the illegals are harder workers. That is the biggest fallacy ever! Illegal immigrants hardly ever have more than a grade 6 education and so they really are no more than "pack mules" and it is not that they are "harder workers" that they get jobs before American citizens - it is because they will work for slave wages because they have no dignity for themselves. American citizens have more respect for themselves and will not work for wages that mean they must live in conditions of 20 or more people in a small dwelling in order to be able to pay the rent split between them (by the way, they are also ALWAYS being taken advantage of by slumlords because even though they are trying to save money by living too many to a dwelling, the landlords are also charging them double or more for their rent, knowing that they will not report them for fear of being discovered and deported).
As well, the employers often take advantage of them, working them for far more than humane hours, knowing the illegals will have no where to go for support and help and they also often cheat the illegals on their pay, also knowing that the illegals will have no recourse.
How any illegal immigration supporters can claim that they want all this for their "friends," the illegals, I will NEVER understand.
Maybe this is too much for you to understand, but I tried.

The main difference is that the american citizen who's working off the books won't get deported when they arrest his/her employer.
Also, while the Illegal may send large sums of money back home, most off the books employees are likely to go to TJ to spend their money, or buy stuff online to avoid taxes.
Wanna cheat the government? do it the easy way: Get a government job.
