im talking about every religion out there. if ur born into a christian neighboorhood, you will naturally be christian because of the enviroment, and the way u are raised. Likewise if u were born Muslim in Iraq, ur predetermined to be Muslim, and "expected" to be, if not its going against society. why cant other religions instead of being so close minded and biased, develop their own sense of faith, as in rejecting all they are taught and start from scratch, wouldnt most of em realize that their religion is based on mythology and not on reality as they are taught from birth?

Because they have been taught that humans are puny, unworthy creatures that shouldn't presume to think for themselves.

Namaste,

There is some (if not a lot) of truth in each belief, and people glean their own reality from their roots and evolve in their own walk. We don't have to destroy each other, or convince each other of what we consider true, as long as we agree that we each have a right to seek it in our own way. Why do we not spend as much time seeking ways to resurrect mankind rather than only seeking the ways we can destroy each other?

In my faith we are encouraged to develop our own testimony as we cannot stand on the testimonies of others. (The parable of the ten virgins). I understand the Amish allow their teens free time before they are baptized so they can experience the world before they commit.
