The devil hates God. He can't reach God, but he can hurt whom God loves. That's you. Now, because God loves you, He has provided a means to defeat the devil. Nothing apart from God will do it. You have to rely on the only One Who has defeated the devil apart from 2/3 of the angels of heaven. That is Jesus Christ. So when he attacks, consistently call on Jesus. By the authority of the sacrifice Jesus made for you, you can resist the devil. You can even command him concerning you and whom you lay hands on if you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior. As your Lord, you have to obey Him and as your Savior, its easy to love Him. As His, you have the authority to control the enemy concerning you.

But since the devil wants to put himself in your control, don't let him get away with torturing you. Hold him a little while and pour a good deal of your faith into a little bottle of holy water and start blessing everything about your life and home. See how he likes being tortured. Is the devil's hand on your love life? Bless your love life and burn the devil's hand. Is it on your finances? Well you get the picture.

Don't be discouraged! We all do combat with Satan every day and its his mission to inflict all manner of problems on the Children of God as he wants to disrupt our service to the Lord. The best way to send him packing is to resist him we are told and he will flee. We can all take comfort in the fact that he has no power over the children of God as the Lord has already defeated him at the cross and his end is already sealed so he is a defeated foe! Its Just that he doesn't want you to know it.

Do the mechanics.. a serpent is a serpent, whether it's in our brain, soul, or anywhere else. These things only exist at our choosing, or lack of choice.

What's on the inside breeds what's on the inside, and what's on the outside affects what is on the inside, as well.

The religions from the middle east have one thing in common: snakes.

I do not experience snakes. I live in a country where snakes don't threaten my life, body or mind.

The way to get the Devil to stop bothering you is to get yourself a prescription for Lithium or some other anti-psychotic medication and to take it as often as the doctor tells you to.

Be strong. The devil will try and lure you to his side with homosexuality (unfortunatley he has seduced many, as seen on the GLT section) sodomy, etc but you are strong enough to fight these off.

When you say that say "In the name of Jesus leave me Satan."
Always use Jesus's name when you are fighting Satan. Works for me.
