Sean J, To start of a Mustang GT ranks 5th in the top ten list, and the 2 Toyotas aren't even on the top ten. The Supra goes about 203 and the Celica goes about 198, 5 mph difference. Hope it helps Hunk!

The cheapest way to get more horsepower is to add a cold air intake, set of headers, high flow catalytic converter,
and a new performance muffler. You will pick up about 25-35 more horsepower and only spend about $275 if you purchase the stuff off Ebay.Trust me,Im doing the same
thing to a 91 Geo prizm.Who would want to put alot of money into a prizm?A turbo or supercharger is great to get alot more power but youll have to spend about $2000-$3000 and pay to have them installed and set up and I think you said "the cheapest way"

NO NOS! It seems like since the fast and the furious people think nos is the answer. i'm not saying that it doesnt work cuz it does. i'm jus sayin that you'll need to do a lot of other things to re-enforce ur car if ur adding nos. i personally know a drag racer that blew up his camaro on nos and another time a 250 shot of nos TWISTED his camaros frame so badly that the doors wouldnt shut. start off with a different air intake and exhaust system.

I agree with Christoph... B, but would also suggest, a 50 shot NOS, that is a dry kit, with a peddle switch, can also be found on eBay. Look into it. Its an old car, you can afford to have a little fun before you scrap it.

Other than attaching it to a tow-truck, the first place is to replace the exhaust system with extractors and a sports muffler.

But with such an old car, you have to be careful how much you spend as it really is nearing its end of life.

the fastest and cheapest to get your car more horse power is to sell it and use that money to buy your self a Trans am, or a Camaro, or maybe a Mustang.

Aww man I was gonna tell you to see about having it bolted to the side of the Space Shuttle...however...I suggest adding a supercharger or a turbo with a boost tank.

1986... why would anyone want to drop coin on a 20 year old car... since you want it to go faster, sounds like you are not a collector.. so save your $ and buy a newer North American Company vehicle
