She needs to go back on dry food...the wet stuff is giving her a runny butt! Take her to the vet to have her teeth cleaned and to get any bad ones extracted...that's probably why she refuses dry food (it hurts). And rotten teeth in a dog stink like something has died!

isn't it spelled like dachshund? Is that the same kinda dog? If she had jumped off the bed she could have broken her back. They should be watched when up on a couch or bed and helped down.
You need to take her to the vet. 6 isnt that old and if her teeth are rotting there is a problem and she hasnt been properly cared for.

I also have a wiener dog and wen we got him he wouldn't eat dry food, sometimes he would go days without food, he only wanted house food. One day I took him to petco to ask what could I give him because I got worry that he wouldn't eat, and they suggested a brand name Natural Balance, he loves turkey and lamb, he wasn't crazy about beef or chicken. Dachshund dogs don't need to be fed much, maybe a slice in the morning and another in the evening. I notice wen I gave him house food he would get diarrhea and would stink like s***. With this dog food he doesn't stink and wen he poops it's easy to clean up. The food comes in dry or in a sausage type of roll. My dog really loves it. Also, it's not good if they are overweight because they develop back problems so I was told by the vet wen I took him to get his shots. Good Luck.

If she has Rotten teeth, you can bet that her breath is bad.
If she goes outside she is probably rolling in whatever she can find that stinks, it is a natural instinct( Dead stuff, old poop, garbage ETC...)
As far as the food. you need to take her to a vet and get her teeth checked.
there is a brand of hard food that is soft that is excellent food, its called Bill Jack I believe that's the name(you can find out more about it by emailing: parrotsandpaws@yahoo.com.
Whatever you get her on you would do her and you best by staying on the same kind of food.

She most definitely shouldn't have rotting teeth at age 6. That can cause her to have a major infection throughout the body. Take her to the vet to see what can be done.

Well, your dog is either sick with some infection, or perhaps she is allergic to her food. It sounds like she needs to go to the vet.
You need to brush a dog's teeth and get them cleaned to keep her gums and teeth healthy. A dog with rotting teeth is a stinky, sick dog. This could be her main problem.
I suggest you take her to the vet. She needs care.
