you can apply for a K1 visa (fiance visa) ..that need between 6-8 month . After she enters the USA you guys have 90 days to get married .Then you need to fill out some other forms and after some more month she receives a greencard with conditions .The conditions can be removed after 2 years marriage and if she stays during that time in the USA.But don't worry if they deploy you and she comes with you .That don't disturb that process cause you are in the services and if you get an order to go it is also covers her.

Or you marry her in Aussie and apply for a K3 ...almost the same timeline

usally there is no need to get a lawyer ..if she has a clean criminal record

i will add some links (USCIS & US embassy )

expedited green card? i don't think it's that easy, but your being in the military will definitely be a big help in speeding things along. the first thing is to get her a fiancee visa, then get her permanent residency--otherwise known as a green card. she can work with a permanent residency, and even before, you just get her work approval and a social security card. it costs money so get ready for that. we're talking a couple thousand or more before it's all through. your nearest immigration office should be able to give you all the paperwork you need, and hopefully advise you as well; they also have toll-free telephone numbers to call for help. plenty of them are nice folks and not as scary as it seems. try to go to the smallest immigration office you can--the less amount of customers they get, the better mood they're in! **by the way, you will also have to get permission from the military, depending on your job** good luck!

Definitely, all you have to do is talk to an immigration lawyer to help you out and point the right way. Or someone from the military could help you out. It shouldn't be too hard.

MY BROTHER WHILE IN THE AIR FORCE, STATIONED IN PANAMA. ASKED FOR HIS GIRLFRIEND TO COME TO THE USA BEFORE MARRIAGE. WAS TOLD TO WAIT TILL HE RETURNED HOME. ONCE HE CAME BACK HOME, HE WAS ABLE TO GET HER HERE BUT HAD TO PROMISE MARRIAGE, OR HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE AIR FORCE. I DON'T KNOW IF IT APPLIES TO OTHER COUNTRIES. CALL THE MILITARY THEY WOULD TELL YOU.

Providing you both meet the requirements, I imagine you should have no problem in getting her a Fiancé visa. You can read about it here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html :-)
