Honestly, the best site for used cars is "on site." You really don't know what you're getting in a used car unless you can inspect it, first (preferably with a mechanic or friend who knows what to look for). You can find the car initially by checking eBay, Craigslist or any other "local" directory but if there's no way to inspect the goods before making an offer, keep looking.

www.autotrader.com is the best, otherwise, www.cars.com shows you local newspaper listings, but a lot of them don't include pictures.
