If you can handle being with a older man, it doesn't matter. If you are muture for your age, any older guy will be lucky to have you. Go out there and see what is out there for you. Let him know you are on his level, if you don't they will take advantage of you. If you like older men, don't worry about what people are going to say. It's about what you like and what you want out of life. Age ain't nothing but a number, as long as he is not 80 :)

It shouldn't matter but in todays world it does.
I would say at 20,maybe 25 or 26 being the oldest to date but thats just me. I'm 29....if I were dating someone at 20 (which I wouldn't)....it would just be for a hot young piece of ***....than I would move on, I could never take it serious. Couple of months tops...then see ya.

i'm 18 and i'm dating a 31 year old. it's not weird or akward at all. we get along great and mentally and maturity wise there is no age gap. it's not that i'm too mature or he's immature. we kinda meet half way. plus older guys have tons of experience. when it comes to dating age is just a number. do what makes you comfortable, not what makes other comfortable. if you had asked me 3 months ago if i would date a 31 year old i woulda said HELL NO! but now that i met my bf and got to know him and am falling in love with him i say **** the age gap. you never know until you try... or would you rather spend the rest of your life wondering? not me!

Perhaps you need to check with some experts...
Hugh Hefner, Harrison Ford, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Douglas
and on and on and on and on..
"Trophy Wife" is an excellent long term career move for qualified women...
It is as easy to love & be loved by a rich old man as it is a poor young man and the life is a lot easier & more fun...

I'm 20yrs old too, and in the same boat. I think it all comes down to personal prefference. I have a friend who's thirty, and her husband is 50. It sounds like a huge gap, but when they are together it's as if they are made for each other. If it feels right to you, and if it feels right to him, then what would you lose if you gave it a try???

Age is just a number and means nothing. It all depends on how you both feel.
