Why does everyone shout racism?

Why is it that most cultures will shout that they have been victim to a racist act? A white man is not able to do this. I am just wondering?

In my college studies, a very prominent African American teacher told us that there are no race issues in America....they're all about class and status.

But the American dream is all about being able to work your way through the classes, so long as you work hard enough and want to bad enough. Because the concept of the American dream has been so indoctorinated in us, there's a societal expectation to buy into it.

But as many of us know, the American dream isn't so easy to attain. People can't usually become rich just because they're hard workers. These setbacks have to be blamed on something. They can't be blamed on class (because that's a no-no here), so they're blamed on race.

I'm not sure how much I buy into this theory, but it's interesting and I thought I'd mention it.

Ahh the infamous "Race Card" gets pulled quite a bit where I live. I personally live in an area heavily populated by people who have a skin tone that is commonly called black, brown, dark skin, light skin...you know what Im getting at. I used to supervise a staff in which there were 3 whites in every ten employees, and I was called a racist, whitey, cracker, in anything and everything I did and I'm half hispanic lol. It's a free ride that some people in the world get and they care not how immoral it is to hide behind the color of their skin. News flash this is no longer a place where people will be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin...America is largely so f-ing vain and shallow they still cant get past superficial details. Personally I like variety...I like multiple "cultures" it makes the world a more interesting place. I know it's the history of slavery...but I never owned a slave of any color, I never participated in slave trade and my ancestors went through the same crap yours did and you dont see me pulln cards. As soon as some of these modern day folks can lift up a shirt and show me the scars from the whips and proof of their opression then and only then will I feel remorse for you in todays society...

The bible speaks that people of different races are not to mix. They will never get along. Mexicans should stay in Mexico...and so on. The cultures will never get along and who can blame someone for not wanting to fork out the dough to pay for someone elses culture in their own home land? If we stay on our own terf these problems could be prevented. Its when people see others makin a good life for themselves.....they want a piece of the American pie with out the work or actualy bein an American. I say you want something then stay where you are and work for it. White people are not able to do this because we have pride and most dont do this.

honestly i think its a bunch of crap,no one should be able to shout racism. At my JOB they. have Hispanic days, and African American days.I'm white with mixed son and boyfriend, not racist. What if I asked for national white day. I'd be dead in the parking lot. People should be proud of who they are and don't push anything on any one Else! And GET OVER IT!!!

I think that it is very possible for a white person to be a victim to racism, however because of the actions of white people in the past, bringing Africans to Americans as slaves, the KKK, we have shown more racism towards others than I believe others have shown to us. But it is possible for a white person to be victim to racism. But because of all the double standards in the world against and for white people, it won't ever be counted unless people over the world actually start being treated as equals and individuals.

The pro side whines and protest too much on their support for illegal aliens. They specify race, in particular Latinos. Then, when someone disagrees, you are a bigot and racist and just disgust them for being patriotic too. I dare you to say you Love America.. their juggler vein will pop out with anger. And they are all impostors anyway, no honesty in the world except from those that support laws and no amnesty for illegal criminal aliens.

That is true if a White man or woman says that they have been the vitcims of everyone thinks that White person is racist, but if any ethnic people say it, no one claims them a racist. It is so stupid.

Sweetie its called Invisibility of Race, white people have race and ethnicity as do African Americans but white people dont think of their race but minority groups tend to, oppressed groups see and live it everyday

It's a minority thing I guess. Not trying to insult anyone but it seems a minority can insult anyone and nothing happens. But if a white person insults one they are immediate called a racist.

It might have something to do with history as well.
