You could IM him but either way he knows who u are so do it in person. At least you can see the look on his face.

HEy that is just like me. The guy I like I hardly see in school as well, and I just got a letter claiming to be from him but I am not sure. I finally decided to write a letter back asking was it from him. I would say ask him to meet you somewhere and confront him face to face so you can actually see his reaction. Instant messaging is so impersonal and you can lie so easily like that. Maybe even write a letter.

for shy people especially, i think the computer is a great way to get them to open up and not be so shy. I would IM him. Just talk to him as a friend and take it like that and see how it goes. Don't look at it as a confrontation because that sounds like something negative and this is a good thing, not a bad thing. Just IM him and start a conversation and see where it ends up. Good luck.

Since he's shy, Instant Message. If he's as shy as the guy I like then you're much better off talking to him on the internet. If you confront him in person he'll probablye just get embarassed and walk away or won't admit his feelings to you, if he has them, he'll blow you off and then you'll be left heartbroken. Believe me honey, it's happened to me so many times, my heart is pratically scarred for life. I've finally learned how to approach guys. Shy guys are hard to go out with though, they never show you affection when they're around other people and barely ever talk to you. So figure out if he's worth it before you pour out your feelings to him. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

My boyfriend was the shyest guy in school. I was persistant and keep writing him notes and asking his friends about him. We've been married for over 10 years now. So, 2 answer ur question, in person. Show him you like him, but be patient. Shy people are the hardest ones to get to open up to you.

Guys LOVE bold women....Deep down, they are totally attracted to the aggressive type...the sweet, aggressive type...you have to be honest when it comes to how you feel, say it how it is...if you dont see him around schoool much, then write him a note and pass it along to him the next time you see him....in the note, you SHOULDNT write out your feelings, just in case the guy turns out to be an immature asshole and shows everyone, and embarsses you...instead, you write down you name, number, and/or email address, and have him call you... if hes interested, you would def. hear from him sooner or later....and if he doesnt call you, then hes prolly too chicken to handle a woman right now. guys think SOOOOOO DIFFERNETLY than woman do...if only all guys would be as honest and up front as we are..but oh well, thats just the way they are....but dont worry hun, they do get better with age....in the meantime, life your life on the flirty side! your young, im sure your beautiful, and life is too short to worry about just one person...dont give your heart away unless he is willing to give his back...but remember, honesty is the best policy...tell him exactly what you feel...and if hes mature, you will get a positive answer back...

Send him an IM since he is very shy. That way it is easier to say some things that you might not be able to say face to face and see where it goes from there.

try IM. first then if no reply make sure you see him in school and confront him then. Is school the only place you can see him? well if you confront him in school and he doesn't seem to like you then give it up.

make time to meet him face to face ask him if he wants to hang out over IM or phone then tell him how you feel in person

well face to face is always the way to handle things in the proper manner. But if not possible then IM is good, but not exellent
