I don't think I can point to one specific situation or blessing... because you did ask for the Best thing....
So, imagine a life that was worthless, absolutely void of purpose or hope or even an expectation of future. Abused, beaten, forced to watch siblings being beaten, disregarded, dehumanized, dismayed, diseverything.... A human being can be programmed to believe they are not human, or at least not worth humanity, so that the evidence of humanity around them breeds contempt and hatred. It's not a sad world. There is no pain because there is no feeling. People were users and hypocrites or just stupid. That was me and for me everything was an indifferent shrug. He saved me. I have known things in my life since Christ found me, picked me up, dusted me off, and made me shine... obvious miracles or interventions by none other than God. By miracle I earned three degrees in six years. By miracle I have a loving and "normal" family. By miracle I have an unimaginably awesome life. By miracle I care about people and know the people who care about me. By miracle I am alive. You cannot know this and you cannot take my word for it. Nevertheless, I was dead and am now alive. Maybe for me, a number of miracles were necessary. I don't know, but here I am... against all odds.

Wow, so many blessings I've had, what to choose as best?
Hmm, perhaps my journey to being a mother to two beautiful precious girls. Because of things in my past I was told I wouldn't have kids for many years. In fact, I didn't get pregnant with the first one until I was 37. That long road, where at times I wondered if I would ever get that one desire of my heart, was a journey of faith and growing. If I hadn't made that journey, I wouldn't be the mother I am today.
So I have to say the best thing He did for me was to make me wait such a long time .... it proved to me that not only does He exist, but He loves me and my husband.

The best thing that God has done in my life is to send His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins!
Thank you God for saving me and all those who have placed their faith in You!

The freedom of choice to do whatever with my life good or bad but reap the consequences, time to live so that I can answer your question and even though he has the power to kill elects to have examples good and bad give us the chance to incline our hearts and minds to his will, through love and as we love life so does he love when we are happy, and the more you incline your heart to do what is right you vindicate his holy name( Jehovah) from the lie that was set forth since the beginning of creation.

Saved my marriage. My marriage was falling apart and we were on the brink of divorce. I gave my life over to Jesus on the 9 July 2006. Since then I have had a change of heart. I am no longer bitter and angry with my life, (anger grieves the spirit). There has been a complete turn around in our married lives. Others have commented how harmonious our life is now. I spend a lot of time now reading the bible and I know that He is with me.

Four days before my father died, at age 91, God worked a miracle in his heart...he said yes to Jesus. I had prayed for my Dad for ten years.

He saved my life, both physically and eternally. And if that's all He ever did, that would be enough.
For some strange reason, He continues to bless me, too!
