Girls who try to make it work are stupid! If he can't treat you like the queen you are the first time around then he just lost his chance! Girls put up with way too much and let the guy run all over them. If he doesn't want to act right, leave him alone. Your self dignity is worth so much more than accepting bad behavior!

Yes because this person may never change and always treat you bad. Staying with this person will only cause more pain and heartache. Sometimes you can make the relationship work if there is enough love there you can work through any obstacle you need to overcome to stay strong as a couple. If nothing changes than its time to move on. You need someone who will treat you with respect and love and if he is not showing that than its probably not going to work out. You deserve better than that.

That entirely depends on what the man did. If he treated his girlfriend wrong on purpose and intend to do it again, it would be stupid to try and make that work. On the other hand if it was maybe a one time thing then it's very possible that things will work out.

The reason many women stay in destructive relationships is that they think they can change the guy and make him a better person...y'know, like they wanted to do with daddy but couldn't. And then, once they've spent a lot of time and energy in the relationship, it's nearly impossible to walk away from the investment, kind of like admitting you were stupid and had poor judgment. It's like getting stuck in quicksand, or being caught in a whirlpool or a riptide that pulls you out to sea and drowns you. So yes, it is stupid to stay with a man who treats you badly, and it sounds like you're stuck and headed downwards already. Make a big, big effort and get out!!

You need to give us more info. What way did he treat her wrong?Can any of us sit in judgment of another persons' deed ? If 2 people decide to make a go of their relationship who and why are we to judge? Every one of us has done something wrong to another person in our lives or had something done to us. We were talking the other day at work to young fellow about an incident that happened to him and he said he'd never speak to that S.O.B. again!!!! Our reply to him was that if ya hold a grudge all the time against someone after a few yrs ya got no one to talk to

Yes. No self-respecting girl will be brought down by a guy she knows is wrong for her. It's nearly impossible to change a man. She's better off finding someone who will treat her the way she wants to be treated.

I wouldn't say stupid but gullible, If he really loves you, then she needs to treat you better, and if he don't stop then there are men out there who will treat you right, I happened to get a good man.:)

No, she isn't stupid, it's her decision - there are things about their relationship that you probably don't know - you only see part of it - and are only judging part of it.... she is showing she really loves him - hopefully he loves her enough to appreciate her staying and will work with her on the relationship

YES!!! Because the girls that stay with guys like that have NO self esteem and think that they can't do any better. So, in a way, they are stupid, but in a sad way.
