To live victoriously, you must think that you have the victory. I believe I already have the victory. "You do not need to fight this battle. Take your position, stand still, and watch the victory of the Lord on your behalf." (2 Chronicles 20:17) If you think defeat (e.g. I can't do it; I'm no good; what if my fears and worries overtake me...) then you will be defeated. Concentrate on the victory that God gave you and you will see your confidence grow.

My marriage was falling apart and we were on the brink of divorce. I gave my life over to Jesus on the 9 July 2006. Since then I have had a change of heart. I am no longer bitter and angry with my life, (anger grieves the spirit). There has been a complete turn around in our married lives. Others have commented how harmonious our life is now. I spend a lot of time now reading the bible and I know that He is with me.

I am a New Christian. I just got saved 2 months ago. The night I got saved, I threw out my make-up and nail polish, My revealing clothes, my rap music, my tv, etc. I stopped wearing jewelery, i stopped watching tv, I stopped cursing, I stopped having sex. I just didn want to live for the world anymore. I wanted to please God and I've given my life to him. Now I only wear dresses and skirts, because they do not show my form and cause men to lust after me, I carry myself differently. I tell everyone I see about God. I don't watch worldly television or listen to worldly music. I live for God. I'm am going to start bible college in January. I'm in undergrad College now, studying biology. I was going to be a doctor to help people. But now I want to something more like missionary work and help people find God. I know God lives inside me. I feel him every second of every day.

It is definitely important to stay in the Word on a regular basis, and also develop your prayer life. Having more mature Christians as friends and mentors also is very helpful in growing in your spiritual walk.

Also---we are told to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Focusing on the Word of God and not on the world is very key as well.

Hope this helps, God bless you!

My brother was my best friend and when he was killed at work, I was in shock for a few brief minutes, but suddenly a small voice said for me to pray for strenght...So I did.... And I was blessed abundently with it.... I had to go to my parents and tell them what had happened to their youngest child...I had to go to his pregnant wife and console her, I had to call my older brother and tell him... I never knew how strong my God was until that day.... I become strengthened by listening and obeying...And I was not victorious, but my God was.... He is the Victory.... Not I.... I was blessed....

I cannot put my faith in something i can't see or touch, therefore i lead my own life just for me. Not through christ or anyone else for that matter.

guy can no longer stay through bread on my own yet through the note of God the note is nutrition for the Spirit we ought to die to our fleshly needs and lust that is killing our previous guy putting him on the pick Christ and be born again in Christ the added of the note we take in our spirit the better it is going to strengthen yet be no longer only a hearer of the note yet a doer of the note because faith without works is lifeless.

Just be sure you've realized that you were also on the cross when Christ died and that you died with Him.
