Sorry, but the answer is no. A bruise happens when the little capillaries under your skin are broken, usually by a hard blow of some kind. Once they are broken, nothing will make the blood go back into the capillaries, and it is the seeping blood that causes the bruise. Over a few days, it is reabsorbed by the body (that's when bruises turn those interesting shades of green and yellow). An ice pack will help reduce swelling, but won't do anything to prevent the bruise from showing up.

A bruise occurs because there is damage in that area - broken blood vessels or internal bleeding causes bruising. ICE - Ice, Compression, and Elevation, along with rest, will help the injured area to heal. The bruising still occurs because the damage is caused at the time of injury.

no. I use a cream called Hurodoid.
As the bruise starts to appear, rubbing the cream in helps to dissipate the pooled blood in the area. Bruise disappears in half the time

No but it may reduce the swelling. Why would you want to cover it up? Has someone hurt you? Tell someone if they have. Don't cover up for someone assaulting you ever.
