I'm not sure what youre talking about, it must have slipped under my radar with the War, and school shootings. I dont see a need for a national ID card, why let the government track where you are?

No.
I suspect the "Beast" fortold in Revelations may be the nation-state. John may have seen a future where humanity entrusts itself to an overarching government that entices us to trust it with our freedom.
We sacrifice our lives, livelihood and freedom to it, and it gives us safety and security. A national I.D. sounds like a practical idea for a modern age, but ultimately, it makes citizens into numbers.

people are frickin paranoid on crap that isn't worth bein paranoid over, and not paranoid on stuff that matters.

Do you have a social security number? Then you are already on "the grid". Paranoia at it's finest.
