i have a 2.9 witch at my skool is a c+ and parents are freaking out how do i gaet them off my back?

Try talking with them honestly. Can they see that you are putting forth an honest effort? Are you putting forth an honest effort? That makes a difference. Are the classes especially difficult? Demanding A's for advanced classes is not always appropriate. If you are taking "blow off" classes, then they should be on your back. It is unfair to compare students taking such different classes. A person taking advanced math and science should not have to make the same grades as a person taking year book or some similar class. In some cases, I would include band as a blow off because the grades are more dependent upon showing up and doing the work rather than the quality of the work.

If you want to go to college,...you will have a hard time getting into a good university with a 2.9. Unless you get excellent scores on your SATs.

Spell school correctly and make better grades. Chances are they'll get off your back then. If you're smart enough to find Yahoo Answers and ask this question, you're smart enough to make better grades in school.

1. pay for your own education and not be concerned with parents freaking out

2. allow them to freak out because they are paying for your education... and C+ technically is ONLY average

3. actually get an education, thus learning how to spell "get", the correct "which", "skool"
