I told my best friend about the guy that I liked because I tell my best friend almost everything. And I told him that I didn't think I had a chance with him. I'm pretty, though. Just so you guys know that that's not what I mean when I said "i didn't stand a chance" with the guy. Well I told my best friend and I said, "but I'm not pretty enough" and my best friend was like "you're pretty" and I was like "but I'm not like pretty, pretty" What I meant was pretty enough for the guy I like. And he said "Yes you are..you're pretty,pretty,pretty,pretty...I'm looking at you right now" and I got really shy because he was staring at me so I just looked down. And then this one day, he told me "you're beautiful with, or without make up...in a friendly way"...
but then he had confessed to me during the summer that he liked me when we first met but i was so sure that he didn't like me anymore since it had been so long and we became such good friends ...how would you guys take comments like these?

um. he probably likes you. my best friend is a guy too and we liked each other for a long time and that's how he was a little bit. but i ignored it because i didn't want it to ruin our friendship and now we are just friends. well sort of. but just wait it out a little bit and if you've never felt that way about him then don't lead him on at all- be careful.

Sounds like he hopes to be more than your best friend. It doesn't sound like you feel the same way about him which will be tough if his attraction for you oversteps his friendship with you.

If you don't feel the same way about him, I think it's only fair to him and to yourself that you're firm with him about how you feel. It's best not to lead him on. It's also not fair for you to expect a friendship from him if he's expecting more either.

I would take them as he likes you and wants something more than a friends status with you. If you feel the same way go for it, just be careful, friends before anything, remeber that!

See where this thing goes, a lot of good relationships start as friends and if it's too weird then go back to the firends.

Your friend is just attracted to you,but sometimes it's crazier than what you think because I'm married to my bestfriend and I love him to death, wouldn't change it for the world.
