Check out www.hufa.org. If your weight gain problem is due to a blood sugar imbalance, learning what diets level your blood sugar will help put you on a path that will keep the weight off once you get it off.

Loss of confidence can be a symptom of low blood sugar, too. Do check out the symptoms link and see if you have any others.

Low blood sugar is easy to control with food - and you don't need a lot of will or "won't" power, either.

Unfortuneately our society does look down on over-weight people. It is a defense mechanism telling us not to get heavy since it is bad for our health. If you looked at fatness and said I want to be like that, then everyone would be unhealthy.

But this does not mean that you should look down on yourself. You are the only one who can do something about it. Dont do it for others do it to feel good. You are so worth it. Be confident, active, and like yourself......no love yourself everyday.

Now to lose the weight. Once you love yourself it becomes easier. Cut down on the food you eat slightly each week. Just eliminate one thing or change one bad habit. Each Week add cut out another bad thing and start eatting less slowly. In a few weeks you will not have a heaping plate of food but 2/3 of a plate. Then after a few more weeks cut out the snacks (except for veggies). Then in a few more weeks but out one of the meals. Then later add one real healthy meal like a huge salad. Keep changing your diet until it is healthy and natural.
You will lose weight and hardly know it and no more than 2lbs a week please. This is important.
DON'T LOSE MORE THAT 2LBS A WEEK OR YOUR BODY WILL THINK IT IS STARVING TO DEATH AND WILL RETAIN EVERYTHING YOU EAT AS FAT.
This is the huge mistake most dieters make they try at rush and the body rebels (your body does not want you to die) and so it gains instead of losing. If you cut out most of your food yes your body will lose but it will be all muscle, not good.
Please try what I am saying and I bet you will come back in a month and say wow I lost 8 lbs and did not miss food at all.
Good Luck and Keep the Chin up

Try joining Jenny Craig or one of the similar businesses that supply your daily food end eat only what your supposed to, keep up the exercise. In time you will lose weight and the exercise will tone you up and make your body mass smaller.

On Good Morning American this morning They said {Dianne Sawyer I believe} the average size for women in the USA is 14. That surprised me because I thought it would be a 10.

After you lose the weight you want to then join Weight Watchers and go on a maintenance plan. Keep exercising daily, walk a lot, climb stairs instead of riding the elevator, park far away from the entrance when you go shopping all these things burn calories and keep you healthier.

A lot of people try starvation diets which cause temporary weight loss. The body's metabolism (or rate at which it burns calories) decreases as the body goes into a conservative mode. This will stop the weight loss and often cause individuals to gain the lost weight back. Your best bet is to lower your caloric amount just a little at a time. Cut back on foods with a high fat content. Drink lots of water too. Exercise is the key to weight loss. A daily exercise program increases your metabolism and burns calories at the same time. Eat a healthy diet and exercise daily. That's the key to weight loss. Once you continue the weight loss, your self-esteem also improves.

first of all, ask yourself this question...would I feel any differently about myself if i lost all the weght? also, do you gain it back because of health reasons, or do you just stop dieting and working out. if you decide to lose the weight do it for you and not for anyone else, i lost 25 pounds on weight watchers, and i know that its a lifestyle change, not a diet that makes the difference

i struggled with the same problem ontop of many others for YEARS up until a couple years ago....i still struggle with it sometimes but not NEARLY as much!...i had to make peace with myself, over the past few years my life and myself have been improving all becuase i have had to tell myself over and over that i am worth it!...another thing that helps is do things that really makes you happy like hobbies, they can boost your ego knowing you've done something productive....i hope this helps, good luck

Talk to someone ... but not a so-called specialist, they will drive you to suicide.

Talk to a normal human being who has been to hell and back, and will not let any pillock grind him down.

Talk to someone who has been through all the family stuff that families go through.

Talk to someone who has had real health problems, mental (well I am married) and physical.

Talk to someone real. :)

Good luck my friend.
