I have been in a long distance relationship with the most beautiful girl I've ever met for about 4 months now. We've gone through so much in the short period of time through emails, letters, and such...I love this girl to death and I'd be willing to sacrifice everything and anything for her...except for school work.
I'm a straight A student in High school, and I've been spending so much time in this relationship that my grades have gone down...I'm kind of scared...my parents care a lot about my grades and they would def. want me to break the relationship off if I continue the downward slide of my grades. (I recently got an E on a Calc test) ...oh yeah, me being 16 and her being almost 19 ( in Nov) doesn't help either..haha..should I break it off? I'm feeling a bit depressed...

If you two really care about each other, you'll be able to make it work. Your grades are important to you, and so she should respect that. Long distance relationships are tough, so you have to put aside time for her...but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your good grades. Just be honest and discuss it with her openly. Chances are that she isn't even aware that there's a problem! I'm sure you can strike a balance somewhere. Good luck.

Honey, you are young, and a MINOR.. and she is a damn adult... You need to be worried about school and not that relationship. That is "puppy" love that you are feeling. And if she is a respectable grown woman she will let you go because she isn't taking care of you your parents are. And your school work is more important. You have your whole life ahead of you. People come and go in your life, and if she loves you that much, she will let you go. It is vital that you do good in school now because that is going to open more opportunities in your college career if you continue on. YOu only get one chance, so don't blow it. And even if you guys did make it this far, you would be going away to school and you still would have to be worrying about school because now you gotta pay for school! And don't be on a scholarship because if you lose that, you can kiss everything goodbye! Use your common sense and weigh your options out... But I would let it be how it is.. long distance.. and let it go. Your life is barely begun son...
