Christian faith is assurance which rests on God's promises. I am not sure how to describe blind faith except to say that the word "blind" indicates the inability to see. I believe that blind faith is believing something without any understanding, but rather believing just because it is what others are doing or because it just seems like the thing to do.

At first I didn't see a difference. I still kinda don't, lol. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Blind faith could be the substance of things hoped for with no basis for it, no logical reason for having that faith to begin with (because I DO see the logical reason for believing in God). I suppose an example of blind faith would be having faith that you wouldn't get hit by a moving train if you jumped in front of it. There's really nothing to put your faith in to think you won't get hit.

Faith is standing at a street corner and having the light turn green and crossing the street - and assuming the oncoming cars will stop for the red light.
Blind faith is not knowing the traffic laws and following a bunch of people crossing the street in traffic.

Faith is believing in something you've put forth the effort to find out about. After you've done enough research to feel secure that what you've learned is correct then you have faith that its true. Blind faith is following someone else's faith without checking it out for yourself...you follow blindly not having proved it to yourself first.

To me there is none. in case you have faith you in addition to would have the wish that each and all and sundry will paintings out the way it somewhat is meant to paintings. in case you have wish you have the religion to appreciate that issues would be be ok. faith is understanding each and every little thing would be ok and that we at the instant are not on top of issues yet have provided that administration to a a ways better potential. So faith and need are extra or much less interchangable.

Regular "faith" is trust based on past experiences. For example, my brother "Fred" has always been punctual, even showing up early for every known function. I fully expect him to show up early to help with dinner on Thanksgiving Day. When he shows up 1 hour tardy, I have "faith" in "Fred's" known character, that the reason for his tardiness will be honorable.
"Blind Faith" is similiar, but with an important difference: the trust is demanded without showing any demonstration of honesty, credibility, or trustworthiness. "Andy the astronomer", new in town, declares that tomorrow, the sun will split into two stars, and that we will get to watch this safely from planet Earth. He demands that we believe him, without showing so much as a BA in astronomy from any accredited college, or data from a telescope, or corroboration from other astronomers. Any questioning of his methods at arriving to this conclusion are me with disdain, even hurt feelings, for not "trusting" him. The faith demanded here is blind! "Andy" has no basis for demanding this faith in himself.

No difference. Faith is blind by definition. That's what makes it so dangerous. Faith can kill because it doesn't 'see' what's ahead of it.

In words you'll understand, Blind Faith is when you Try to Believe for Something With your Eyes shut.
Just kidding.
I thought it was funny.

The blind faith is one which is followed. Faith is one which is believed. However most people have both. They truly believe in god sometimes, and sometimes they blindly believe because of attachment to their religion or because their parents foce it or they might be gullible to stupid preachers who say their religion is only true religion.
