I know i want a diesel truck but what type of truck is the best and is the nicest?

Your question doesn't give enough detail...what do you want to do with the truck? Haul a boat or a camper? Are you going off road with the truck? Or is this vehicle going to be pampered and never driven on the dirt? Answers to questions like these are going to determine what kind of truck you are going to want to buy.
Having said that, I would spend a great deal of time around dealer showrooms and doing some research on the reliability of different truck models. Consumer Reports magazine might be able to help and the automotive magazines can be a good source of information. Web sites such as www.Edmunds.com, Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com), and NADA (www.nada.com) are also good sources of information. Of course, it doesn't hurt to actually test drive a few diesel trucks, to make sure that you really want a diesel truck, because diesels drive a little differently than a gasoline powered vehicle.

You should take the 30 thousand dollars and invest it or buy a home. It seems a waste to buy a truck that is just going to depreciate with all that money!

a GMC or a chvy best ones out good trucks why a diesel its more money for fuel and it you get the fuel on you it will smell in the winter you plug it in you are better off with gas

I have a 2005 GMC 2500 HD Duramax. Love it. Obviosly you can't get a brand new one for $30,000.00, but if you actually NEED a diesel, thats the way to go. 4 doors, of course.

Dodge Ram. Fords has the worst reliability. The GM's are getting a makeover, which will make them a lot nicer
