well, i got my real estate license by doing the schooling online.

it doesn't matter HOW you get the information, as long as you LEARN it, and IMPLEMENT it.

if you want advice on what to do to start your business, feel free to write me back, I'll give you whatever advice I can. (I've owned 3 businesses before, and I think I'm getting pretty good at helping people get started!)

Back in the early 60's, I signed up for an electronin correspondence course from Central Technical Institute in Kansas City. I finished it while I was in the Army.

I don't know if I would have gotten a job with that course or not, but the company seemed to think that worthless Army radio school was worth giving me the test, which I passed because of my correspondence course.

I worked there for 31 years. I did not get rich, but cost in Iowa are low, so my kids went to college, and I have enough retirement income to travel all over the place, and we are building a house in the mountains in Mexico.

Things are changed, so I suspect that company would not give a test for a job with only Army radio school or correspondence course.

I am currently taking an on line course in psychology. My psychiatrist talked me into it, after the death of my only brother and best friend. I have spoken to the owner of the local hospital, and the rehab unit. I will do volunteer work at both when I graduate. I will also be working under my psychiatrist. I will, later on, earn my Master's Degree on line. You will be just as qualified as someone who went to a college campus everyday. You will get the same knowledge. You will also save yourself a lot of money. I hope this helped.

Yes, I have taken a correspondence course with excellent results. Just remember one thing as you plan this course - you will get out of it what you put into it. My experience with this type of course was that it was much more difficult than a regular class and it is that way for a reason. Good luck - just study and do your research. The internet is a great resource and can be used for your advantage.
