LMAO! I am a self employed roofer. I run my own business and I employ people. It doesn't matter what your excuse is, if the person running the business has been doing so for at least 2 years, they have heard every excuse imaginable and then some. I have a guy that works for me that must have about 8 grandmothers. Seems about every 3 months he has to take time off of work because his grandma died. I have another that calls in sick every Friday, (payday is Thursday) I guess he gets his check and gets sick of working till the first of the week. Chances are no matter what excuse you use, someone has already been there and done that. I could go on, but I don't think yahoo's database is that big. lmao

I always say I'm sick but they usually know I'm lying because I go into work when I'm sick anyway. I don't think I've ever actually been sick when I took a sick day actually now that I think about it.

I manage a business and I never am sick. AND, IF I can make it to work, you better damn well make it in too. If you call in sick you better BE so sick you need hospital care. Otherwise, get your *** to work or look for another job.
