you wil find more than your fair share of screwed up women
the solution is simple
just don't put up with them
you need a set of "filters" so that when you are looking for a women
certain things she may have ( hang ups, emotional baggage ) will trigger your put her on my do not see her again list.
don't go for any women who is materialistic
who comes from a divorced family
who is looking for a "daddy" or badboy
who complains about ex's
who has a low credit rating
who has no education or low career aspirations
who drive a lousy car
wears frumpy clothing
does not present herself well
has a rudimentry street language
forget about diamonds in the rough
what you see is what you get
it's not going to get better
follow these rules and set others for yourself and you'll be ok
and avoiding the undesirables
remember.. water seeks it's own level..
so it's true in dating

When I was 24, yes 24, I dated a man who was 41. All of my friends loved him, my parents liked him -- I didn't feel all those mushy things one wants, and we 'broke up'. I am *relatively* normal, not with major baggage, and I would recommend him to a friend! So yeah, there's hope for you, if you're a good catch. It's never too late.

Nah, everyone is ****** in the head. I guess. As for baggage that is in the eye of the beholder, but I'll tell ya this. If I ever have a guy call my kids baggage I will knock them smooth out.

They are out there. You just have to find them. There's always some kind of baggage if you've lived until you are 40. However, some is not as bad as others.

hmmm, yes, I'm sure you have a chance. But your chances are slimmer than if you were younger. Sorry, but it's true. Alot of women your age (don't mean that in a bad way) are single for a reason...but I'm sure there's lots of good ones out there too. Keep thinking optimistically, and positive things will happen to you.

we all carry some and it depends on the kind of baggage you speak of. if you are not meeting any decent women maybe you picking the wrong one. pay close attention on your choice... maybe there is a pattern

Lots of geezers around here and they get girls in their 20s and 30s. They're lots older than 40.
