I'd probably have an eating disorder too, if I went to my mother for help and she thought i was full of crap. You have to tell someone about your problem, just not your mother.

Go to someone else.
If you're in school, go to a school counselor or a trusted teacher. They can help you. Your mom probably just didn't know how to react to what you said, but even thinking you have an eating disorder is a pretty good sign that you probably do. It's not healthy, and despite your mom's accusation you should still ask for help.

If you can't get it at home, there are alternatives. School is a surprisingly supportive place when you need it to be and know where to look. If that really doesn't work, go to a friend's parent or another adult you really trust. There is definitely someone out there to help you. And if it turns out that you're just eating less because of stress or that you're making yourself sick because of being overstressed (and I've done that myself), then you're lucky for not having a serious disorder, and can target your stress to get back into healthier habits.

If you believe you have an eating disorder, talk to a school psychologist or teacher if your mom doesnt believe you. When I was about 16, I had an eating disorder and didnt tell anyone. Luckily I was able to overcome most of my habits and can now eat normally, but it was hard and I regret not telling anyone. An eating disorder is very serious, go get help asap! Check out the web for support and call centers.

Ok, I'm not a doctor, but I would strongly recommend going to one. That's the first step. As for your "very concerned" mother, once the doctor comes up with a diagnosis, throw it back in your mother's face and have the last laugh. She needs a wake up call that her daughter has a serious condition; and to me, it sounds like it's all about your mother. Oh, and suggest to her that maybe SHE should go see a doctor. If you believe you have a disorder, go check it out. Chances are, it's not just in your head. Don't worry about anything else but yourself because in this case, it IS all about you.

what exactly do u feel?do u feel like ur so fat that you wont like to eat or whenever you eat, you feel like vomiting it all out? have you done self-induce vomiting?
Anorexia and Bolimia nervosa are the eating disorder that I know. And they are related to mental hygiene. What are the symptoms that are you experiencing?
Are there any physical problems that you are complaining about?
Hypochondriasis is an exaggerated fear of having a disease, a simple symptoms can make you believe that you have such sickness even if not all the symptoms are present.
Better if you can consult a doctor to know specifically if you are sick physically or not, and if not...don't hesitate to try a psychologist to make u understand,.

talk with a nurse at school. go to the ER if you need to. If you think you have an eating disorder, there is a good chance you have some sort of problem, and you need someone to help you sort it out. Your mother's reaction is not about you. It is about here. Don't let it keep you have getting help.

You are receiving a lot of good advice. Seeking help from an adult you trust is probably your next step. In the mean time, try not to upset your mom, who is maybe pms-ing or something. Tell her you will try at least one bite of what she offers you. Good luck, and I'm glad you are reaching out for help. We're pulling for you!

Go talk to your school guidance councelor first thing Monday morning. Let him/her know what you are going through. If they sense a problem, they will make sure you get the help you need. They will also help you with your mom as well. Just try to take it easy this weekend. You will be ok. I promise. Just do as I said and things will be fine.
