Well, see she doesnt want to be rushed into anything ya know? She wants some time to think about it. SOO right now its no definate. Its a complete 50/50. In my opinion (if you didn't) you shoulda gotten to know her for about 3 or 4 weeks with just like small conversations on the phone and off and then gotten her interested in you. Then she wouldn't have had to say 'I Don't Know.." know why? Cuz she would have already thought about it a WHOLE LOT. Like what it would be like if you were her boyfriend and how much fun you would have together.. All that mushy stuff ya know? She's a girl.

well me..i have a really bad problem of making decisions...cause i fear that if i make a decision, the outcome might be bad. we're [girls] are not confident enough about some things and you're gonna have to accept that to understand us... you boys make us CONFUZZLED too sometimes.. here's a quote for you for what a girl might be thinking when you ask her out:

she's afraid of what might happen. you'll find a girl thats up enough to say YES when you ask her. love doesn't come easy..

Probably because it was unexpected.
Look, women need to have their brains stroked first before being asked out. First, you need to talk to them, ask them about something they like, something they're into, classes, anything - not just once, but many times over many days...THEN, if things are going well, you can ask them out.

when one of my ex. asked me out i said i didn`t know. it took me a month just to say yes to him and he waited for my answer. i guess they just need some more time to think about what they want. give it some time. good luck ! =]

Because the don't want to hurt your feelings by saying no, or they just don't know how to say no. If a girl said idk to me, I would take that as a no.
