Why are most preachers
afraid to preach straight through a gospel from beginning to end? Why do they skip over Jesus's "difficult" sayings and the enigmatic passages?

If you were in the biggest money making racket in history would you read something that might give your listeners a clue that they are being scammed a lot of "religions are in it for the money" How many do you see go from dor to door everyday and teach people what the Bible says and help them with their problems for FREE personally I know of only one that does that and never passes a collection plate ever at any service and has no paid clergy class somethinf to think about also who uses Gods personal Name as found at Ps 83;18 OKJV

Preachers was graduated from Theology Course. They are well experts of which passages(from the Bible) are most significant first. Believers and listeners are devided into many kinds, but the most popular are 1.the young Christian and 2. the matured Christian. Some Passages that are what you said "difficult" are given to the matured Christian whom grounded in a deep faith, it is just like giving the hard part of bread to the older one.
Preachers are aware of passages that makes the Listeners and Young Belivevers to fall instead of receive the faith.Preachers are the shephered of GOD and the sheeps are belong to GOD,
if any of the sheep lost ?Preacher will answer it to GOD,The good thing is,"The Bible are freely allowed to be read by anyone and if some are confused the Preachers are willingly answers and explain it in accordance to his Religion(There is no bad Religion when it is owned by GOD)

same reason why they don't preach the the true gospel. Cuz they are afraid of loosing their members. Its all like this, you gotta keep them with you got them with. If they used a false gospel and/or false teachings and what not to get them there, and all of a sudden starts using the true gospel, they will indeed loose members.

Many Baptist, and Bible Churches teach/preach verse by verse, also all Calvary Chapels preach verse by verse. They teach the good, the bad, and the ugly. What kind of church are you talking about.

Do you mean like churches that allow divorce for just about anything these days and also allow second marriages outside of widow ship.

Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

Mark 10
11He answered, "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. 12And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery."

It is not that they don't understand it, it's that they fear you won't.
